Thanks to the hard work of our volunteer coordinators, 500 chapter competitions and 56 state competitions take place each year!
Many of our volunteer coordinators are Professional Engineers affiliated with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE)—one of our founding sponsors—and many NSPE state and chapter societies support local MATHCOUNTS programming. All official MATHCOUNTS Chapter Competitions will be held on February 17, 2022 through the Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) Contest Platform for the 2021-2022 program year. Students may begin the Chapter Competition anytime in the window of 12pm ET to 8pm ET. State Competitions are still planned as in-person events in March 2022. This list will be updated regularly throughout the fall and winter as State Competition details become available.
